Capital Digestive Care (CDC), a GI Physician Practice located in Laurel, MD, has an exciting opportunity for a: Full Time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist - Certified This position floats between our Laurel, MD and Columbia, MD practice locations. High School Diploma or GED required 2-3 years prior experience working in medical office, both front/back office experience preferred Good understanding of common blood tests, blood collection tubes, and standard venipuncture equipment, tools, and techniques 1 year min phlebotomy experience required Experience working in an ASC or GI Suite preferred Working knowledge of medical terminology Work independently as well as a in a team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills with patients, co-workers and providers Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism Capital Digestive Care (CDC) partners with PE GI Solutions who provides over 600 gastroenterologist partners industry-leading practice and center management solutions across the nation.
