4 AM Mobile Phlebotomist (Contract/Part-Time)Location:
Mobile Position Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team for early morning specimen collection. This contract/part-time role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols while collecting and transporting blood specimens from patients at various locations.Job Responsibilities Patient Verification:
Ensure accuracy by verifying test requisitions against nursing station logs and addressing discrepancies with facility personnel.Safe Transportation:
Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as per management guidelines.Specimen Collection:
Perform venipunctures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.Specimen Integrity:
Follow aseptic techniques, department protocols, and isolation procedures to maintain specimen quality.Tracking & Documentation:
Accurately document collection details, including initials, date, and time of collection.Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to legal and industry standards to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.Data Entry:
Utilize laboratory information systems to input sample acquisition details.Professionalism:
Uphold company reputation by maintaining a high standard of service and professional conduct. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in infection control and aseptic techniques. Excellent bedside manner and patient interaction skills. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and specimen handling. Strong procedural and phlebotomy skills. Ability to work independently with strong time management. Proficiency with computer systems for data entry. Safe and responsible driving habits.
