The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company for patients seeking healthcare services, either for routine care or critical health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures. This position involves direct patient interaction, where the PSR I ensure a trusting and confident environment by clearly explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner. The PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and precision in patient information.Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment. Confidently handle both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, adhering to established protocols. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Promote a positive image of the company and provide excellent service to patients, clients, employees, and the general public.Job Requirements:
Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients. Flexible and available for various shifts based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).Work Experience:
