Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Grand Rapid

MED-1 is looking for great people to join our team! As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist you will be responsible for providing administrative and patient care support to ensure efficient operation of MED-1. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Primary consideration given to Certified medical assistants, individuals with Phlebotomy and/or Xray experience. Responsibilities Room patients and document basic medical history Schedule appointments Update and file medical records Check with patients and chart within the electronic charting system Assist during medical examinations Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Provide a variety of services including; drug screens, venipuncture, immunizations, audio and vision testing, EKG, PFT, and x-ray. Skills Primary consideration to those with proven working experience for a minimum of one year experience in a medical assistant role within the last 1 year Knowledge of patient management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Other important factors to consider: Monday - Friday One 8 hour holiday shift required per year once adequately trained Holiday pay and bonus incentive disbursement

Compensation:
