Job Description

Pride Health is hiring aTravel Phlebotomistto support our client's medical facility, based inGrand Rapids, MI.This is a13-week travel contract jobwith a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Phlebotomist (Traveler)
Location:
Grand Rapids, MI •
Schedule:
Eastern.

Michigan 3 AM-11:30 AM five days a week
Pay Rate:
$1,500 - $•Per weekThe rate is based on years of
DIRECT EXPERIENCE
as listed in the resume.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.

Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.

Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.

At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.

Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is preferred.
