Phlebotomist Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or fingerstick methods Label and organize blood samples for testing or storage Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens Follow proper protocols for patient identification, specimen collection, and infection control Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with patient education and provide support as needed Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
