Phlebotomist

Northwest Labs/RSL Medical Marketing is seeking a dependable and skilled Phlebotomist to join the team at a clinic in Milford, MI. You will be responsible for drawing blood from patients, preparing blood and toxicology specimens for medical testing, and ensuring accurate documentation of procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care with at least 1-2 years phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients Label and prepare blood and toxicology specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of procedures performed Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the blood/tox collection process. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sterile work environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate specimen collection and processing. Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions ​

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program AND/OR at least 2 years of work experience in blood drawing. Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields Ability to build rapport with patients Familiarity with medical software and equipment Strong organizational skills

M-F; 9:00am-5:00pm 1265 North Milford Road Milford, MI 48381

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
