Job Description

In this role, you'll be on the front lines of patient interaction—providing compassionate service, collecting high-quality specimens, and supporting critical diagnostic testing that helps guide life-changing medical decisions.

  • Contingent with potential pathway for hire
  • Schedule:
  • M-F, 9:00am-5:30pm (closing shift; occasional overtime as needed)
  • Why This Role Matters
  • As a Phlebotomist, you serve as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring a safe, accurate, and compassionate specimen collection experience. Your work directly supports the integrity of diagnostic testing and positive patient outcomes.
  • What You'll Do
  • Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric
  • Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient's presence
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and required records
  • Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients
  • Support coverage across Patient Service Centers and in-office settings as needed
  • What We're Looking For
  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to multiple locations as needed
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizatons (TDaP, MMR, Varicella, COVID, Influenza, and negative TB result)
