35 Position Summary The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing routine blood collections and specimen processing. This role also serves as a Laboratory Information System (LIS) operator and assists with clerical duties as needed. The position supports the overall safety, organization, and cleanliness of the laboratory. This temporary role is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. In addition to core phlebotomy responsibilities, there will be opportunities to shadow laboratory technicians, providing exposure to clinical laboratory workflows, instrumentation, and testing processes. Qualifications Education/Training:

Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy, medical assistant, or related medical program OR High school diploma (or equivalent) with documented phlebotomy training and experience

Preferred:

High school graduate or college student currently enrolled in a healthcare-related degree program

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work directly with patients and families in a professional manner Basic computer and typing skills preferred
