Pay:

Base Wage starting at $15; increased based on experience

Yes Essential Functions:

Using technical equipment to safely draw blood from patients. Clearly explaining the process of drawing blood to the patients and answering any questions they may have regarding collection techniques. Registering the blood and storing it in the correct environment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all health and safely standards while working. Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples. Keep accurate records on fluid specimens and tests. Correctly label samples and send or deliver them for testing.

Skills Abilities:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels. Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid. Ability to perform simple mathematical equations. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to distressed patients, families or visitors. Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:

Requires standing, sitting or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per day. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Class C Basic Life Support (CPR) within 90 days of employment and renewed biannually. Must adhere to NRMC appearance and attire policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in hospital or clinical setting.
