Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinic Phlebotomist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through precise and efficient specimen collection. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face patients see, ensuring their comfort while expertly performing blood sampling and related procedures. Your expertise in laboratory techniques and patient service will directly contribute to accurate diagnostics and improved health outcomes. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity. Collect, process, and label specimens accurately, following established laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Obtain vital signs and assess patient condition to ensure comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and specimen handling in compliance with medical terminology standards. Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow infection control practices diligently to maintain a sterile environment during all laboratory activities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of specimens for analysis and support overall patient care. Experience Prior laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience is highly desirable, especially in hospital or outpatient settings. Proven proficiency in laboratory techniques such as venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques relevant to phlebotomy. Experience working with diverse patient populations, demonstrating excellent patient service skills. $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
