PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Phlebotomist with over two years of experience. This role offers the potential to transition to a permanent position and requires strong computer skills. Responsibilities + Provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections. + Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. + Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. + Process billing information and collect payments when required. + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. + Maintain patient and specimen information logs. + Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary. + Travel to additional sites when needed. Essential Skills + Phlebotomy certification. + Experience in blood drawing and specimen collection. + Excellent customer service skills. + Proficiency in computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working in a laboratory setting. + Ability to manage patient information accurately. Work Environment The role involves routine lab work, primarily with patients ranging from teens to geriatrics. The mornings tend to be busy, with a daily volume between 25-30 patients. Phlebotomists will work independently and should be comfortable operating on their own. The work week is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm. The position is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
