In this energetic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of laboratory procedures. Your dedication to precision and compassionate patient service will help support effective medical diagnoses and treatment plans. Duties Collect blood samples using venipuncture and skin puncture techniques with precision and care Prepare and process specimens according to laboratory protocols to ensure sample integrity Verify patient identities and accurately document all collection details Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent contamination and ensure sample quality Assist with specimen labeling, storage, and transportation to the laboratory for analysis Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Requirements Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and blood sampling methods Hands-on experience with venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen processing Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environment protocols and patient care standards Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and aseptic procedures Ability to accurately measure vital signs and follow detailed instructions Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact patient health outcomes.
