This role focuses on venipuncture and blood processing to support platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) protocols and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment, maintains adherence to safety protocols, and is passionate about patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood draws for PRF preparation and other adjunctive surgical procedures Prepare and process blood using centrifugation protocols to produce PRF (e.g., L-PRF, A-PRF, i-PRF) Ensure proper labeling, handling, and timely processing of all specimens Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance standards Monitor patients before, during, and after blood draws to ensure safety and comfort Assist clinical team during surgical procedures as needed (chairside support, setup, breakdown) Maintain and sterilize equipment, including centrifuges and phlebotomy tools Document procedures accurately in patient records Educate patients on PRF procedures and answer basic questions within scope Manage inventory of phlebotomy and PRF-related supplies Qualifications Certification in Phlebotomy (required) Minimum [1-2] years of phlebotomy experience (medical or dental setting preferred) Experience with PRF protocols or willingness to be trained Strong understanding of venipuncture techniques and patient safety Knowledge of infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment
