This is a full time position with the opportunity for additional shifts depending on absences and vacations.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, start time varies by location but may be as early as 7:30 AM with a typical end time of 5:00
  • 5:30 PM. Rotating Saturday shifts required. What we are looking for in a candidate.
  • Positive attitude and upbeat personality
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in phlebotomy and laboratory testing.
  • Self motivated and detailed oriented
  • Punctual, reliable and a strong team player
  • eClinicalworks Job responsibilities
  • Draw blood samples as requested by physician orders
  • Data entry and processing specimens including: labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as required by test order
  • Ensure accuracy in specimen processing and handling
  • Excellent bedside manner
  • Sort specimens based on patient insurance and tests requested.
  • Maintain supplies
  • Keep Phlebotomy work area neat, clean and well stocked
  • Maintain a specimen log Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Completed Phlebotomy course with certificate
  • At least 3 years Phlebotomy experience
  • eClinicalworks experience
  • Reliable transportation Language English (required), Spanish (is a plus) Schedule
  • Full time (see above) Pay $18
  • 24 based on qualifications and applicable experience in laboratory and phlebotomy fields.
