Patient Care Technician/Phlebotomist

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician to join our team in the Summit & Union offices of our bustling Hematology/Oncology practice. As a CMA, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional healthcare to our patients. Phlebotomy skills are a must-have, and previous experience in the lab and reception desk is highly desirable. Knowledge of

is also a plus.

Hours of shift would be:

Monday-Friday 8hr shift to be discussed

Job Responsibilities:

Perform various clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, and assisting physicians during procedures Conduct phlebotomy, lab work, and other diagnostic tests on patients as required Update patient charts and medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness Prepare examination rooms and ensure that all medical equipment is functioning correctly Communicate with patients about their healthcare needs, including medication instructions and test results Maintain a clean and organized office environment Assist with clinical duties as required, including triaging answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant with prior experience Phlebotomy skills are essential Knowledge of EPIC is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
