We are at the final stretch of launching a major phlebotomy hiring initiative supporting one of the largest and most respected healthcare systems in the Albany region . We are looking to bring on 10 Phlebotomists quickly , with roles available across hospital, laboratory, and outpatient sites in and around Albany. This is a high-visibility project with long-term potential. Strong performance can lead to ongoing opportunities and consistent work as this healthcare system continues to expand services throughout the area.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages Work in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital units, central labs, and outpatient collection sites Ensure accurate specimen labeling, handling, processing, and transport Provide a calm, professional, and compassionate experience for patients Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines without exception

What We're Looking For:

Phlebotomy certification preferred (or completion of an accredited training program) Previous experience in phlebotomy strongly preferred (hospital or outpatient experience a plus) Comfort working in fast-paced clinical environments Strong attention to detail and patient-first mindset Reliable transportation for nearby outpatient site coverage (for applicable roles)

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
