Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Phlebotomist & Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical procedures, patient care, and laboratory techniques, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced medical environment. As a Certified Phlebotomist & Medical Assistant, you will perform vital specimen collection, assist with patient care activities, and support clinical operations to ensure accurate diagnostics and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture using proper aseptic techniques. Prepare and process laboratory specimens accurately for analysis, ensuring specimen integrity and proper labeling. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and documentation to facilitate smooth clinical workflows. Maintain a clean and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Support patient service activities by providing compassionate communication, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing patient concerns. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures to ensure high-quality care delivery. Skills Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques related to blood sampling and specimen processing. Extensive laboratory experience with a focus on clinical laboratory practices. Strong understanding of patient care principles combined with hospital experience. Expertise in venipuncture (blood sampling) and phlebotomy techniques for accurate specimen collection. Knowledge of vital signs measurement, aseptic technique, and anatomy fundamentals essential for clinical accuracy. Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within healthcare teams. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment while maintaining professionalism. $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
