  • Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm, Sat 7am to 12pm.
Job Summary The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for managing all front office operations at the Patient Service Center (PSC). This role includes providing excellent customer service, handling data entry, supporting insurance billing and payments, resolving customer issues, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations. The PSR may support multiple locations and assist in high-volume situations as needed. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Support patient check-in processes, including kiosk sign-in and ensuring data accuracy Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information Contact clients to obtain or verify patient test orders Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, mailing, and data entry Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines (including HIPAA) Process insurance-related documentation, billing, and payments as required Address and resolve customer concerns using established protocols Ensure proper documentation and use of test translation tables Assist with inventory management and ordering of office supplies Support special projects and additional tasks assigned by management Maintain punctuality and adhere to attendance guidelines Demonstrate organizational values and commitment to quality service. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of customer service experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with data entry, keyboarding, and basic computer applications Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred but not required) Skills & Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow established procedures Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
