In this vital role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples, performing clinical procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate care. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care, ensuring patient comfort and safety Collect, process, label, and document laboratory specimens accurately following established protocols Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist in patient assessments Maintain aseptic technique during specimen collection and clinical procedures to prevent contamination Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including patient preparation, anatomy assessments, and physiology-related procedures Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and ensuring a supportive environment Follow laboratory procedures and techniques meticulously to ensure specimen integrity and reliable test results Experience Prior laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory techniques, including blood sampling and specimen processing Experience with phlebotomy techniques such as venipuncture and blood collection in a hospital or clinical setting is desirable Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to support accurate patient assessments Previous hospital or healthcare facility experience that emphasizes patient care and safety standards is advantageous Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through skilled phlebotomy and compassionate medical assistance.
