Medical training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred Must be able to communicate effectively in English The Phlebotomist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Greets customers appropriately and treats all customers in a courteous manner Ensures all phlebotomy and other specimens are collected accurately and on time Responsible for completing requisitions accurately Maintains required records and documents Performs basic clerical duties; filing, faxing, preparing mail, and answering phones Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities; disposing of biohazard containers, stocking and ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned, within scope of position
