a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Phlebotomist - Night Program About the Role Join our laboratory team as a Phlebotomist in our Night Program , where your work plays a critical role in patient diagnosis and care. In this position, you'll accurately collect and process specimens for inpatient and outpatient testing while supporting essential laboratory operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent overnight schedule, works well independently, and values contributing to high‑quality patient care. This role is third shift , working four 10‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays . Team members in the night program receive a $2.00/hour shift differential . Phlebotomy experience is preferred. Schedule & Differential Third shift (overnight), Night Program 4 ten‑hour shifts per week Rotating weekends and holidays $2.00/hour night program shift differential Responsibilities Perform accurate phlebotomy and specimen collection for inpatients and/or outpatients, including venipuncture, heel stick, finger stick, and arterial puncture as required. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling; instruct patients on self‑collection procedures when applicable. Transport specimens from on‑site and off‑site locations following established safety guidelines. Maintain courteous, professional interactions with laboratory customers and respond to telephone inquiries promptly. Perform clerical and computer functions, including patient data entry, test ordering, receiving, cancelling, charging, and crediting tests while ensuring information accuracy. Adhere to all laboratory and hospital policies related to procedures, quality control, quality assurance, safety, hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and compliance. Demonstrate dependability, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize work to meet department needs. Train and orient new employees, students, and residents as assigned. Communicate unusual or problematic incidents to technical staff, supervisors, and/or pathologists. Monitor and maintain supplies, using materials and reagents in a cost‑effective manner.
