Job Description

Job Title Temporary Phlebotomist - Clinical Research Lab Location On‑site - Hazelton, PA Job Type Full‑time, Temporary (3-6 weeks), with possibility of going permanent Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Role Best Skin Research is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to support a temporary clinical research project in our Camp Hill and Hazleton offices. You will work in a research lab setting under supervision, focusing on blood collection, processing, and shipment of specimens to a central lab.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and blood draws with a high level of accuracy and patient comfort.
  • Process blood specimens, including centrifugation and pipetting, according to study protocols.
  • Handle PK/PD samples and other research‑related blood specimens.
  • Prepare, package, and ship specimens to a central lab in compliance with IATA and study requirements.
  • Accurately label, document, and track all specimens.
  • Follow all lab safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with the research team to support study timelines and quality standards. Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a phlebotomist with a strong track record in blood draws.
  • Demonstrated experience processing blood specimens (centrifuge, pipette, PK/PD samples).
  • Current IATA certification (required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols exactly.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently under supervision.
Compensation Hourly rate:
