Mobile Phlebotomist

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinical laboratories, and patient homes. This is a crucial role that requires attention to detail, excellent patient care, and knowledge of laboratory techniques.

Duties:

• Perform blood sampling using aseptic technique
• Collect and label blood specimens accurately
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the phlebotomy process
• Maintain proper documentation of all procedures performed
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines
• Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis
• Assist with other laboratory tasks as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of vital signs and basic patient care
• Ability to phlebotomize patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy program
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
