Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist I (Patient Services Representative I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens and supporting patient care with professionalism and accuracy. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, comfortable experience while following established procedures for specimen collection and processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients) Prepare and label specimens for lab testing Maintain accurate records and documentation Follow safety, confidentiality, and quality standards Provide excellent patient service and clear communication Work independently and meet daily operational goals
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred) Phlebotomy certification (preferred) Medical assistant/paramedic training (preferred) Strong data entry and customer service skills Ability to work flexible hours (weekends/holidays as needed)
