Job Description

Phlebotomy Team Leader 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Provides daily supervision for the Lab Assistants and Clerical Lab Assistants. Acts as a resource for problems in phlebotomy and preparing specimens for the reference labs. Trains new employees. Schedules the Lab Assistants. Participates in writing procedures and collecting Quality Assurance data. Identifies and resolves problems related to phlebotomy and specimen handling. Able to perform all duties of the Lab Assistants and Clerical Lab Assistants.

Phlebotomy experience required through a recognized school of phlebotomy or other job related experiences. Experience in supervising Phlebotomy staff preferred ,including ability to schedule, train and develop staff.
