Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Drug Testing Collection Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of drug screening processes. In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and managing specimens with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure reliable results that support safety, compliance, and health initiatives across various settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to important health and safety programs while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Collect urine, blood, saliva, or other specimens from patients or individuals following established protocols and procedures Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of all specimens to maintain chain-of-custody standards Prepare and process specimens using appropriate techniques and aseptic methods to prevent contamination Maintain detailed documentation of collection procedures, specimen details, and any deviations or issues encountered during collection Follow strict safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control practices Assist with laboratory management tasks such as inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintaining cleanliness of the collection area Communicate clearly with patients or individuals to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance during specimen collection Requirements Proven experience in specimen collection and procedures Knowledge of techniques for specimen processing Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow precise instructions This position is a paid opportunity designed for motivated individuals eager to make a difference through accurate specimen collection and support.
