Job Title:
Phlebotomist (072-03)Location:
North Charleston/Mobile Liberty Doctors is looking for a full-time Phlebotomist with 2 to 3 years experience to work with our medical practice that covers homebound patients in assisted living facilities and in their homes. Liberty Doctors offers an excellent benefits package including: health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation, 401k, and a competitive salary of pay range $17 to $20 hourly depending on experience, as well as millage reimbursement. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Scope and Summary Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood by venipuncture, observing aseptic technique, following proper order of draw, ensuring correct collection of blood specimens, and following universal precautions. The Phlebotomist is the "front line" of patient relations, and will act professionally and courteously at all times. Supports and adheres to all written procedures, CLIA standards, and HIPPA policies. Will perform clerical duties and laboratory testing as needed or assigned.Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or GED required.Skills:
Must be detail oriented, organized, and people-oriented. Must have basic knowledge of job. Must have basic knowledge of computers.Certifications:
Certified in phlebotomy. At least 2+ years previous experienceDuties and Responsibilities:
Compliance with policies and procedures of the company as they apply to customer service, confidentiality, patient care, dress, attendance, and behavior. Proper and timely collection of blood and urine specimens following company policies and procedures. Interacts with patients, physicians, nurses, providers, co-workers, vendors and visitors in a manner that exemplifies the company's values. Ensures specimens are collected correctly, prepared correctly, requisitions are complete, and all needed information is available. Implements and follows all OSHA compliance laws and follows Universal Precautions. Properly disposes of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean working environment and restocks phlebotomy area as needed. Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients and patient results. Assumes additional responsibilities as needed. •Must have reliable transportationJob Type:
