Full Time Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant

Description:

Proteus Lab has an exciting opportunity for a full-time In-Clinic-Phlebotomist to provide services in Manchester, TN. The right person for this role will work Monday through Friday 8a-5p. This position collects orders for blood, urine and respiratory tests, reviews provider orders and paperwork to ensure accuracy and enters data into our EMR. This role also prepares the collected samples for send off to our lab and manages results.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3+ years recent, active phlebotomy experience is required. Looking for professionals in the fields including (but not limited to): Mobile Examiner, Traveling Phlebotomist, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant. Candidates must be dependable with attendance and able to work independently. Candidates who are professional in appearance and demeanor, have excellent communication and organization skills, and who meet the minimum required experience will be considered. Applicants must have their own, reliable transportation. Experience communicating through TEAMS is preferred. Data entry experience and understanding of ICD-10 codes is required.
