Job description We are a specialized urology-based concierge medical clinic. Must be passionate with a positive attitude, organized, dependable, coach-able, able to multi-task. Computer skills, data entry, appointment scheduling, EMR proficiency a plus. Helping with the front desk and answering phones is required. Full time position required; hours are M-F 8:30-5:00. Seeking to hire the perfect person to provide excellent patient care. You'll be drawing lots of blood every day, drawing medications up and interacting with patients- this is fast paced and high volume working environment. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Take vitals Take inbound calls and schedule appointments Update and file medical records Call patients back with blood work results and directions from provider Assist with procedures Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Draw Blood and submit for Lab Work Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Assist the provider in providing educational materials to patients about treatments Keep Lab area clean and organized Draw Medications up as directed by Provider Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Degree in medical assistance
