JOB SUMMARY

Properly collects and processes blood from donors/patients, checks quality of blood, and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of donors/patients, following established standards and practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education High school or equivalent Complete the on-the-job training program in 4-6 weeks Minimum Work Experience 6 months previous experience OR completion of a Phlebotomist training program Required Licenses/Certifications Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Maintain logs Designated Driver No OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
