Phlebotomist (Concierge Clinic) in
Dallas, Texas Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join a concierge-style clinic focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for performing accurate and efficient blood draws while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining the highest level of specimen integrity. This position reports to the site leader and may occasionally assist with non-clinical tasks to support overall clinic operations. Details:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Type:
Contract-to-Hire (1040 hours) Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with accuracy and minimal discomfort Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and help create a calm, reassuring environment Verify patient identity and properly label all specimens Determine appropriate collection methods based on patient age and condition Prepare and organize all necessary equipment and supplies for specimen collection Ensure specimen integrity by following proper collection, handling, storage, and transport procedures Accurately update patient information in the system Follow all laboratory policies, quality control standards, and safety guidelines, including OSHA and infection control protocols Handle difficult draws, recollects, and special cases according to established procedures Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including patient and common areas Protect patient confidentiality at all times Support other clinical staff as needed to ensure continuity of care Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with workflow enhancements Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience (3+ years preferred) Strong experience with either difficult sticks (e.g., oncology, dialysis patients) or high-volume environments (e.g., ER, OR, blood bank, reference labs) Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong patient care and communication skills Experience with EMR systems, tech savvy This job offers stability, supportive management, and an opportunity to grow your phlebotomy skills.
