Shift Hours:
7:30 am -4:30 pm Monday - Friday ; Travel is required 25% of the time. Shift hours could vary on travel. At Nurses Etc. Staffing, you'll make a direct impact on military care while enjoying the stability of a long-term contract. What You'll Do Interact with donors to collect blood products. Performs a variety of duties on a rotating basis in various sections to include phlebotomy, donor interviews, registration, vitals, and donor recovery. Perform some phases of whole blood collection and donor care according to directives, the Code of Federal Regulations and local policies and procedures to ensure safe product and optimum donor experience Recruit donors for future donations. This includes calling in eligible donors. Travel is required: Blood donor centers routinely conduct blood drives at locations which require travel, with some requiring overnight stays. Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For Education:
• Certificate. High school equivalent and completion of a donor Phlebotomy program accredited by The Joint Commission. Donor experience required
Certification:
-Basic Life Support (BLS) through either the American Red Cross OR American Heart Association. -Must be certified by American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), OR National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Experience:
