The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, or hospital environments. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to our patients and ensuring smooth operations within the practice. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform intake duties, including obtaining vital signs and medical history. Administer medications as directed by provider and ensure proper documentation. Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management. Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication administration. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols. Participate in the training of new staff members as needed. Requirements Active certification as a Medical Assistant or phlebotomist from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding. Experience in hospital medicine or urgent care settings is preferred. Proficiency in EHR systems for effective patient management. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Bilingual preferred.
