Your energetic and compassionate approach will ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. As a key member of our mobile healthcare services, you will travel to patient locations, including homes, clinics, and community centers, to perform specimen collection with precision and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patient health outcomes while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Travel to patient locations to perform blood draws and specimen collection with accuracy and care Obtain patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration when required Follow strict aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures to ensure specimen integrity and safety Accurately label, process, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols Maintain clear communication with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance Document all collection activities meticulously in electronic health records or paper logs Adhere to all safety guidelines, infection control standards, and confidentiality policies during every interaction Skills Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen processing methods Proven experience in venipuncture (blood sampling) and phlebotomy with excellent technique Familiarity with clinical laboratory practices and hospital experience is highly desirable Ability to effectively communicate medical terminology clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to blood collection and patient care Skilled in taking vital signs accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety Demonstrated ability to work independently in various community environments with a proactive attitude
MUST HAVE PEDIATRIC BLOOD DRAW EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
3 years phlebotomy experience. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on providing compassionate patient service while demonstrating technical expertise in laboratory procedures.
