We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various settings, ensuring high standards of care and accuracy. This role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory, excellent patient interaction skills, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:
Travel to various locations to collect blood and other specimens from patients. Properly identify patients and label specimens with accurate information. Follow standard procedures for venipuncture and capillary puncture. Ensure specimens are collected, stored, and transported correctly to maintain sample integrity. Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and patient information. Follow all safety and infection control protocols. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort during the collection process. Maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance with healthcare regulations.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification from an accredited institution. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Minimum of 3 year of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a mobile setting. Excellent venipuncture skills and knowledge of proper specimen collection techniques. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and weekends if needed. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry phlebotomy equipment and supplies. Manual dexterity to perform phlebotomy procedures.Job Type:
