In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across in a clinical setting. Your responsibilities will span from patient intake and vital signs and setting up a 24 guage infusion IV needle. This role will emphasis working with Veterans in a calm setting. Duties Proficient at setting a light gauge IV. Administer precise intravenous doses of FDA-approved fast-acting insulin using portable pumps. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting dosage and protocols as needed. Educate patients on infusion treatment procedures, benefits, and potential side effects. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment sessions thoroughly.
