The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of samples, and providing excellent patient service. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures with precision and care. Assist in the collection, labeling, and processing of laboratory specimens. Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during sample collection and analysis. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Support laboratory staff in conducting various laboratory tests and procedures. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort during procedures. Document all laboratory activities accurately and maintain records according to hospital standards. Experience Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with patient service practices and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
