Job Description
Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Sea Mar's network of services includes more than 90 medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics and a wide variety of nutritional, social, and educational services. We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) - Lab Services Sea Mar is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling
- Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation
- Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs
- Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA
- Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff Qualifications
- Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist) certification required
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent)
- Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
