Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist Eastern Washington & North Idaho APPS Paramedical - Eastern Washington Office APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, providing nationwide coverage for insurance physicals related to life, health, and disability products. We also perform clinical laboratory collections. The Eastern Washington office is seeking experienced, professional Independent Contractors to complete mobile insurance exams. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Position Overview This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity . Our contractors are self-motivated, detail-oriented medical professionals who are comfortable working independently while delivering high-quality, compliant exams. Exams are conducted in clients' homes or offices and may include: Blood draws and specimen processing Urine collection Medical history interviews Vital signs (manual BP required) Saliva samples 12-lead EKGs Client signatures and paperwork completion Appointments typically last 20-60 minutes . Contractors are compensated per completed appointment . Contractors must follow all compliance and safety standards, including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Schedule & Flexibility Set your own availability Exams offered 7 days per week, year-round Many of our contractors work full-time elsewhere and use this opportunity for supplemental income Our office assists with scheduling so you can focus on completing exams Compensation & Payment Paid per appointment Pay dates: 10th and 25th of each month Payments are issued one month in arrears: Exams completed 1st-15th are paid on the 10th of the following month Exams completed 16th-end of month are paid on the 25th of the following month Territory Typically within a 30-40 mile radius of your residence Orientation & Equipment We provide a 3-4 hour in-person orientation covering: Required paperwork Online portal usage Compliance expectations Initial supply distribution
Equipment Required:
2 Manual BP cuffs (Regular & Large) Stethoscope Soft (fabric) and metal tape measures Scale Printer, paper, ink Gloves, alcohol swabs, gauze, bandages/Coban Centrifuge (rental available) Tablet (9" screen or larger - rental available) 12-lead EKG machine (rental available) Qualifications Minimum 1 year active phlebotomy experience Skilled in manual blood pressure and pulse collection Comfortable using tablets/computers EKG experience preferred (not required) Reliable vehicle Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance Background check required Professional references required
