Mobile Phlebotomist- Madison, WI Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated Mobile Phlebotomist to support the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study (WLS), one of the most influential and longest-running social science studies in the United States. The WLS has followed more than 10,000 Wisconsin high school graduates from the Class of 1957 for nearly 70 years, collecting data on health, aging, family relationships, education, employment, retirement, and overall well-being. The current wave of data collection extends through 2028, with the blood collection effort continuing through at least December 2026 and potentially into 2027. This position is ideal for a certified phlebotomist who enjoys independent work, travel, participant interaction, and contributing to meaningful academic research. August 17-21, 2026 About the Role This project focuses on participants who have been difficult to reach, previously declined participation, or require additional outreach to complete a blood collection visit. The Mobile Phlebotomist will conduct in-home blood collections while also performing participant outreach through phone calls and doorstep visits. The role combines phlebotomy, participant engagement, travel, and fieldwork. Participants receive a $75 cash incentive upon completing the blood collection, which the Mobile Phlebotomist will distribute according to study procedures. Key Responsibilities Travel throughout Wisconsin and occasionally neighboring states, including overnight travel when necessary Conduct in-home blood draws using standard venipuncture techniques Collect blood pressure, pulse, waist/hip measurements, and self-reported weight Process, label, centrifuge, store, and transport specimens according to protocol Administer informed consent and document visit outcomes using project software Contact participants by phone and conduct in-person outreach when needed Build rapport and encourage study participation Distribute participant incentive payments Maintain HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and safety standards Complete documentation accurately and on time Manage travel schedules, equipment, supplies, and project materials independently Provide regular updates to Field Managers and maintain project quality standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Current phlebotomy certification or licensure Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience performing independent blood draws (recent graduates may be considered) Experience with specimen processing, centrifuge operation, and laboratory safety procedures Comfortable performing blood draws and health measurements on older adults Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport during in-home visits and participant outreach activities Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance Must reside in Madison, WI, or within 30 miles of Madison Ability and willingness to travel independently throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems High-speed internet access at home Typing proficiency of at least 35 WPM Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time-management skills Commitment to participant safety, professionalism, confidentiality, and data quality Personal credit card capable of covering up to $500 in reimbursable business expenses Ability to remain on the project through its duration Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting fieldwork, survey research, community outreach, or home visits Experience working with geriatric populations Previous experience as a Field Interviewer or other field-based research role Experience recruiting, engaging, or interviewing participants Demonstrated ability to manage travel schedules independently Additional Requirements Age & Transportation Must be at least 21 years old Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required Work Schedule & Travel Must be available to work an average of 25-35 hours per week Evening and weekend availability required as needed Willingness to travel extensively throughout Wisconsin and occasionally neighboring states Must attend mandatory training in Madison, WI, August 17-21, 2026 Consent to Screening Requirements Background check Motor vehicle record review Credit check Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
