Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity that allows you to contribute your expertise in a supportive educational environment. This full-time position spans 37.5 hours a week, following a convenient school schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and runs from August 6th through December 8th. You'll have the rewarding task of offering physical therapy services to students across all school sites within the district, working with learners from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage a caseload spanning K-12 students Commitment to supporting student success and mobility
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, planning, and physical therapy interventions for students Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams Document services and progress according to school and regulatory standards Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed Attend IEP meetings and consult with teachers, staff, and families Educate staff and families on strategies to promote student independence This position offers a steady, school-based schedule—summers and evenings are yours—allowing for a work-life balance seldom found in clinical settings.
