Job Description

Schedule & Setting:
8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday One weekend per month required Holidays as required Patient load: 6 per day, across inpatient and acute care units Must float as needed You'll work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team serving a range of patients, including geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation cases. This setting offers an exceptional opportunity to broaden your skill set, master complex evaluations, and refine your documentation and patient education abilities under varied leadership styles.Qualifications & Experience:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy required Active Alabama Physical Therapist License in good standing AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required 2 years' experience preferred; will consider candidates with 18 months under supervision and 1 year in the specialty Familiarity with patient data analysis, care collaboration, and EMR entry Able to work with detail, reliability, dependability, and a cooperative attitude Comfortable with heavy physical activity, lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally), and extended periods of mobility Ability to use protective equipment as requiredDuties & Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive patient evaluations and plan of care Deliver therapeutic interventions and document care per department standards Educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Float between units as patient care requires Maintain robust communication and positive workplace interactionsTravel Assignment Perks:
