Type:

3 + months, with potential for extension

Pay Range:

$57 to $59/hr

Location:

Coverage areas: Fort Smith, AR and surrounding area

Schedule:

8 am to 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday

• Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient.

Responsibilities of the

Travel Physical Therapist:

• Evaluate patient functional status, body systems, and physical therapy needs in accordance with CMS requirements; collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
• Provide physical therapy services within state practice guidelines, plan of care, and interdisciplinary care team coordination.
• Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatment, and report condition changes to the nurse supervisor and/or physician.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment to relieve pain, restore function, and maximize patient independence and mobility.
• Educate patients, families/caregivers, and care team members on treatment plans, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
• Complete patient evaluations, develop care plans, andmunicate evaluation oues, goals, and care frequency within required timelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and required reports per agency policy.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area and support nearby agency locations as needed.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and home health aides as permitted by state regulations and agency policy.
• Participate in staff meetings,mittees, and agency-requested education or training activities.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge, licensure, andpliance with therapy standards of practice.
• Maintain schedule flexibility, including weekend rotations and potential holiday coverage, to support patient care needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the

Travel Physical Therapist:

• Home health and Oasis experience required
• Physical Therapist license in Arkansas
