Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Exciting Short-Term Travel Opportunity! Are you a skilled and adaptable Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact on patient lives while experiencing new settings? Join our dynamic team for a 7-week contract starting August 17, 2026, and enjoy the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient environments. This role is critical in providing essential therapy services during a leave of absence, offering you the chance to showcase your expertise, support a collaborative rehab team, and gain valuable experience in diverse clinical settings. What You Bring to the
Role:
Valid Arkansas PT license and current AHA BLS certification Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a smaller team environment Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Truebridge/CPSI Excellent time management skills and adaptability across inpatient and outpatient caseloads Must have an active NPI number and be comfortable floating between different therapy settings Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience in rural or critical access hospital environments Previous exposure to swing bed inpatient units and outpatient clinics Prior experience supporting PTA staff and providing supervision
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program At least 2 years of outpatient and inpatient therapy experience, especially in rural or critical access hospital settings
Additional Requirements:
Must start approximately two weeks prior to the official start date for orientation and training Willingness to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday Travel reimbursement, licensure, certification, and other relevant expenses covered This position offers competitive pay at $63.65/hour, a weekly direct deposit pay schedule, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
