Job Description
Overview We are searching for a pediatric physical therapist to join our team! We are an outpatient therapy clinic with locations in Centerton and Rogers, AR. We have a need for help at any of our locations along with some travel. We have a heart to serve children and their families. We would love to meet you and see if you are a good fit for our team! Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills and overall quality of life. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving care settings. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals. Requirements Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state license. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Experience in various settings such as inpatient, outpatient, acute care, geriatrics, and pediatrics is preferred. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
