Job Description

Kingman Regional Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team. We are located in beautiful northwest Arizona. Position Purpose:
As the Physical Therapist in Home Health, you will be responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
Hours/Shift:
Full-Time/Days - We offer some scheduling flexibility, along with 5/8 or 4/10 shift opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Provides a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards Uses AIDET, perform hand hygiene, assists with positioning patient for comfort and pain management, and performs environment check prior to leaving patient's home and maintains a clean and organized environment Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants Provides patient and/or family education to help achieve goals Documents course of patient care including progress and continuing need for treatment Participates in multidisciplinary meetings ensuring patient continuity of care
Qualifications:
Education :
Graduate with Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in
Physical Therapy Licensure:
Current PT License through the
AZ Board of Physical Therapy Driver's License:
Valid Driver's License, requires travel to patient homes
Certification:
BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, within 20 days of hire
Experience :
Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population
Work Requirements:
Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, possess good communication skills, and use business office equipment and computer Able to assist with patient care in the home setting as needed and assist with the movement of patients >300 pounds Requires travel, in properly insured personal vehicle, throughout our local service area Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue
