Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Skills and Experience Sought:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active credentials Experience in school-based settings and outpatient clinics preferred Proficiency in delivering individualized and group therapy sessions to children and teens Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement treatment plans addressing mobility, strength, and functional goals within the educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and direct interventions in both school districts and clinics Collaborate with teachers and case managers to integrate therapy services into students' educational programs Monitor and document students' progress toward therapy goals, making timely adjustments to treatment plans Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Deliver parent and staff education to support carryover of therapy strategies This contract runs from the end of July through May 27th, 2026, ensuring continuity for students and clients over the school year.
