Job Description

A hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona is seeking a mid-level Physical Therapist to join its clinical staff within a med/surg setting. This is a fully on-site, in-person position requiring regular reporting to a designated facility location. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The Physical Therapist will deliver direct patient care in a med/surg environment, evaluating and treating patients with the goal of restoring function, reducing pain, and supporting overall recovery. The clinician will develop and carry out individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and established care standards. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on patient care within a med/surg clinical setting Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and functional limitations Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders Apply therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring mobility and reducing pain Guide patients through recovery milestones and functional goal progression Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes Coordinate with physicians and the broader care team to ensure cohesive patient care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required Current Physical Therapy license in the state of Arizona required Basic Life Support certification required Experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred
