Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students in a school-based setting near Anaheim, CA. Your expertise can positively impact young learners, helping them access their education to the fullest. In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans that address each student's unique needs.
Key qualifications include:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active State Physical Therapist license (current and in good standing) Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred, but not required Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to thrive in a collaborative, diverse educational environment Compassion and adaptability while working with children and students with varying abilities Primary responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' needs and create effective treatment plans Implement appropriate interventions to facilitate students' mobility, accessibility, and participation in school activities Communicate progress and recommendations with staff and families, adapting interventions as needed Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements Collaborate with educational teams to foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere What's offered: Weekly pay and dedicated recruiter support throughout your contract Paid training and opportunities for professional growth Reimbursement for credentialing expenses W2 employment (enjoy that peace of mind come tax time!)
